Food & Crisis
Urban Food Resilience in times of Crisis, a design proposal for a Campus Park in Oslo
How do our cities cope with major crises when it comes to Food? What happens when the borders close and the import of food is interrupted due to natural disasters, war, or a pandemic? That is the question I asked myself when I started my master’s project in Landscape Architecture at SLU.
The result is a park designed to be resilient to the event of food insecurity in a Scandinavian context. Thus, the park is designed for the ability to easily transition into producing food in the event of a major crisis.
